Solidarity Trade Union defies critics 20/02/07

The Solidarity Trade Union remains defiant in the face of attacks by establishment timeservers and lickspittles. A motley collection of 65 MPs have so far signed an Early Day Motion attacking the Union. The Union has drawn criticism because it refuses to bow to the new McCarthyism and exclude BNP members or supporters from its ranks. It maintains a staunch line in defence of civil liberties and the right to Union representation for all. The EDM makes a number of false allegations about the Union. Union General Secretary Pat Harrington told us:- “It is purely declaratory and will have no effect on our good work. Those signing it are misguided or vindictive fools.”
