The Solidarity Trade Union has launched a withering attack on the UK Independence Party (UKIP).
UKIP are accused by the Union of wanting to victimise workers by scrapping legislation protecting working hours, holidays, overtime, redundancy and sick pay.
The Union claims that UKIP want to undermine the NHS and sneak in privatisation.
They say that UKIP policy scrapping discrimination protection would “plunge women back to facing sexual harassment and discrimination on jobs and pay”.
We asked the General Secretary of the Union why the leaflet had been produced. Pat Harrington told us:
“UKIP are riding high in the polls because of opposition to the EU. People are not aware of their policies attacking the rights of employees, however. There has been very little real examination of their policies beyond opposition to the EU. We think people need to know what they stand for. We don’t think people should sign a blank cheque. What UKIP stand for is the abolition of many hard fought for rights which protect employees from exploitation, victimisation and harassment”.

As a former UKIP branch chairman, I back those who are calling for the NHS to be abolished. None of the mainstream parties dare to criticise the NHS – look at Comrade Cameron’s response when Daniel Hannan MEP bashed the NHS on American TV. The NHS should be criticised, especially now that its true nature is being exposed in the news. I expect more damaging revelations – of the Auschwitz kind – to be revealed in the near future.
As for workers’ rights, I remember speaking out against the minimum wage during the 2010 general election. Although it is not official UKIP policy to abolish the NMW, I think it does need to go. Price and wage controls always lead to shortages.
UKIP is obviously right about abolishing the Equal Opportunities Commission and the Human Rights Act.

The NHS is not yours to destroy or anyone elses it belongs to the people and if people like you didnt lie about what lies ahead in place of the NHS people would tell you where to jumpo from – THE HIGHER THE BETTER. You did speak out against the minimum wage but your perception of what it does to our economy is way off the mark. jUst think about where your shares in Nokia AND samsung AND O2 or EE would be if minimum wage earners had less money to spend inflating your fat cat pockets – you clown !!!!!!
