G.K. Chesterton

This site, devised and maintained by Martin Ward, concerns his favourite writer.

A good place to learn about Chesterton, who is of interest to us because of his economic theories but is probably best known as the author of the Father Brown stories.

As this site illustrates, however, Chesterton was prolific; poetry, novels and essays were just some of the creative forms he used. There is an excellent short biography of Chesterton by Mike Piff, and an extensive archive of Chesterton’s writings.
The site design is simple and clear. In addition to text there is a small picture archive, and links to Christian resources, CS Lewis pages and to other Chesterton venues.
