Israel caught red handed interfering in UK politics

Al Jazzera have exposed Israeli interference in the internal politics of the UK

In an embarrassing turn of events for the Tory government Israeli diplomat Shai Masot has been caught by Al Jazzera working with Tory aide Ms Strizzolo in a covert camera sting.

Both officials discussed a hit list of pro-Palestinian MPs to discredit by way of skullduggery.

A Foreign Office spokesman said: “The Israeli ambassador has apologised and is clear these comments do not reflect the views of the embassy or government of Israel. The UK has a strong relationship with Israel and we consider the matter closed.”

The expose by Al Jazzera has uncovered an unhealthy underbelly of lobbying where ‘Labour Friends of Israel’ is alleged to have access to a slush fund of £1 million. It is alleged that such money is being used to undermine British politicians including Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn.

It’s an unhealthy national security issue that British foreign policy in the Middle East is being warped as British politicians are trying to avoid offending donors with Zionist sympathies, ultimately leading to a situation where such politicians aren’t acting in the interests of the UK, but the interests of Israel.

It’s also disappointing and quite telling that a foreign media outlet, rather than British media have done such a good job exposing this.

Al Jazzera are only just starting to promote their expose and we can expect more revelations that will no doubt cause more embarrassment within the Westminster establishment bubble.
